Within that time frame I've been able to visit Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. I spent so much time traveling I probably did not spend more than 20 consecutive days in Hong Kong.
Honestly, I never knew life could be so exciting and great.
I am particularly sad because I know that the times I had in Hong Kong can never be recreated again. It wasn't necessarily the city that was so great, though I do love the view of skyscrapers framed by mountains, but the people who really completed the experience. God I'm gonna miss it.
Returning to Newton has really helped me appreciate my abroad experience. It might be the fact that I'm living with my parents again, but I just feel that Boston is excruciatingly boring. Life in America is a little too regulated.
I think I'm experiencing a sense of reverse culture shock.
